What is your question?
I have a 2016 Jeep Patriot. The battery is new(ish) and good, but it has a tough time starting. Sometimes it starts to turn over the engine, sometimes it doesn't. After trying for about 5 minutes (or so) the Jeep will start up fine and I won't have any problems for the rest of the day. It seems to have more problems when it is cold. Just changed the plugs, so I know those are good. Perplexed.
What makes this problem better or worse?
Seems to be harder to start when it is cold
How long has your 2016 Jeep Patriot had this problem?
A couple of weeks

It's still important to check the battery for state of charge and the ability to sustain a load -- even when it's "new(ish)" and assumed to be good. The charging system should be checked also, in the event it is not fully recharging the battery as needed. The starting system should be checked for excessive load draw. The cables for the battery should be checked to ensure they are clean, free of corrosion and securely fastened. www.repairpal.com/repair shops -- use that link to find a shop near you.
