Jeep was in park revved it and the etc light came on.

Just started tonight started the jeep idled normally, revved it and etc light came on and it ran rough for about 5 seconds then light went off and it ran normally. Could water in the tank or change in octane cause it?

Hello, ETC indicates electronic throttle control. If you are not having a problem - I would just continue driving.
