The red flashing light upper left hand corner and traction control lights come on and car will not accelerate

Hello, I'm not sure what the "red flashing light" is -- but I do know that a diagnostic tool that has the capability of not only retrieving trouble codes but also monitoring performance data is really essential for figuring out what's going on. If the vehicle will not accelerate, you will most certainly be able to have a trained technician with proper tooling evaluate your vehicle without much difficulty.
