I have a 2010 Jeep Patriot. I Softly hit other car back side, after that in the vehicle control panel EVIC (Electronic Vehicle Information Center) shows E --º as Outside temperature display, The Malfunction indicator light stay light on and the air condition unit doesn't cool. It looks like setting were loosed or somethig like that. Please I will so really appreciate to somebody can tell me a posible diacnostic about is going on.

The outside temperature sensor is likely located in the front of the vehicle, possibly in the grill area. Look around, you may see the sensor hanging or the connector and wiring for the sensor. You may need a new sensor or have the wiring repaired, but it shouldn't be too much of a problem for a skilled mechanic.
