Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Sounds like your 2011 Jeep Liberty is playing hide-and-seek with the ABS and traction control lights. When the front wheels lock up but the rear ones try to spin, it could point to a faulty wheel speed sensor, a sticking brake caliper, or even a glitch in the ABS module. The fact that it disappears after restarting suggests an electrical gremlin—sort of like when your computer "magically" works after a reboot. Your mechanic might need to run more in-depth diagnostics or test drive it longer to trigger the issue.
