Headlights turn on randomly

Hello, my initial reaction is that if I was inspecting the vehicle, I would be looking to see if there are any other electronic devices tapped into wiring harnesses under the dash. I would also be checking to see if there's evidence of moisture getting into the circuit control boxes where the fuses are. There is clearly some thing happening where a short circuit is creating a situation where the lights are turning off or are corresponding with the door locks like you mentioned. This is why I would choose to look for abnormalities such as modification or signs of rodent activity or moisture. This could mean there are more steps to the repair, however, the first thing to do is to identify what's happening when the problem occurs.
