How do I drain and replace the fluid from my front and read differentials???

Both differentials should have a cover, get a new gasket, take the covers off,SLOWLY.this will drain them, put the new gasket on,refill them put your little finger into the plug /fill hole,if the gear oil touches your finger, your done.do this to both.
On most rear diffs we remove the rear cover to drain fluid. Many of the front diffs that do not provide a drain plug may not be possible to do easly so we use a fluid suction gun to insert a tube in the fill plug hole and remove most of the oil that way. BTY that car does call for a different spec fluid for front and rear diffs.
The front differential has a hex plug in the very bottom and a fill plug up higher in the case. It is not necessary to take the cover off to drain the fluid. The rear differential has no drain plug. It is necessary to remove the ten bolts and remove the cover. Clean the mating surfaces of old sealant, grease and oil. Wipe all exposed areas to remove as much of the old lubricant or debris as possible. Use a high grade Permatex silicone sealant or equal to replace the cover. Carefully re-torque all ten cover bolts using a "wheel-nut star pattern" to insure even tightening of all bolts. Refill with specified lubricant to the bottom of the fill hole and replace the rubber fill plug. Neither cover has a gasket. Sealant is a bead of silicone seal such as Permatex Blue RTV.
