2006 Jeep liberty problem

What is your question?

Bought a 2006 Jeep Liberty and now have problem with while driving the speedometer reads 50 miles an hour when going faster around 60 to 65miles an hour. Also car does not like to speed to 80 miles an hour. What could be the problem?
