07 jeep 5.7 hemi ticking/tapping sound, 50k miles how to repair and cost?

I show two engines both use hydraulic self adjusting lifters. It's hard to guess what the noise is without hearing it first hand but it sounds like a hydraulic lifter may be failing. Check the oil level, use an oil with high detergancy, add a quart of Risoline to attempt to clean out the lifters and make sure you have a correct light weight grade of oil in the engine. Get it checked out could be a sign of an oil flow restriction in the engine but could be as simple as an exhaust manifold or gasket leak.
