This is for a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Possible causes: Faulty torque converter clutch solenoid valve - Torque converter clutch solenoid valve harness is open or shorted - Torque converter clutch solenoid valve circuit poor electrical connection - Low transmission fluid level - Dirty transmission fluid What does this mean? Tech notes This is an electrical problem code. Could be a problem to the harness to the Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) solenoid, the TCC solenoid connector or the TCC solenoid itself. That code repair involves removing and re-installing the transmission which can be expensive. It typically involves a transmission rebuild.
*Hands-on* inspection and diagnosis by qualified personnel will be required.
Thanks pushrod!! I have an appt w/Central Converter ( A Trans shop in North Brunswick, NJ) on Monday. My mechanic referred me to them and from other sources have heard they are reputable.
