how do you turn off service light whenb you do the service yourself

try diconnecting the battery if that doesnt work youll need a scanner to tell what the code is in it

Take it up to oreillys and have them clear the code. Its free and they can also pull current codes as well. I do it all the time. They actually just hand me the scanner when I ask for it when I walk in now. I think auto zone does it too but not sure. Don't have one of those near by
