What is your question?
I need to replace the rotors on my 04 Grand Cherokee and started calling around to mechanics to get an idea of what kind of equipment to install (slotted, cross-drilled...?) They told me there are acouple different sizes that could possible be installed depending on the caliper system, but would not tell me how I could identify which system I have. I've found only one size suggested on auto parts websites, but I'd like to make sure. Also, I'd like to replace the shocks/struts while I'm at it. Living on the interior road system, we deal with frost heaves and uneven roads. Any suggestions?

Call your local dealership or reputable Auto Parts store. The can look up exactly what parts your vehicle may need by your VIN number. Save your money, You don't need slotted or crossdrilled rotors. As for Struts and Shocks, once again, your dealership or reputable parts store should have a catalog of HD shocks and Struts to fit your needs, whether it be trailer towing or off road use.
