Alpine stereo surround sound stop working after 3 weeks?

What is your question?

I bought a brand new 2025 Compass Trail Hawk for the Alpine stereo. It has surround sound. I had it for 3 weeks and I could instantly hear the difference when it was on vs off. I worked seamlessly for the first 3 weeks no matter what I chose to stream on my iPhone. After that, I can turn the surround sound on or off and it makes absolutely no audible difference.

What makes this problem better or worse?
