Why does my 2016 compass with 53, 000 miles on it need wheel bearing?

Hello, the "why" is difficult to know. Certainly with only 5 years old and 53,000 miles, it seems abnormal. However, environment issues - road salt, driving conditions and the like can contribute to early wear of lubricated components. I'd definitely suggest having a second opinion, as it still feels early to me to need all those components. What is the concern -- noise? Vibration? Or was this just a normal inspection that turned up recommendations?
