What is your question?
I had my donut gasket replaced and the car is not going like it stalls like a coughing and sounds awful with a squeaking sound that's loud now. The car is not drivable because it does not go over 40mph and if you drive it it is loud won't go uphill without sucking the gas out. It's gas guzzling bad. It has been looked at they hooked up the snap on OBD scanner that is more in depth and did a check on sensors and determined that the catalytic converter is stopped up or bad.
How long has your 2016 Jeep Compass had this problem?
It's gotten worse in the last couple of days but since I have had it in October 2023 it's worse than ever.

Hi this is Dusty, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team. That sounds like quite a mess for sure. A plugged catalytic converter will definitely cause performance issues, including poor fuel consumption, lack of acceleration, and stalling.
