What is your question?
I have 2014 Jeep Compass limited 4 wheel drive. I recently was driving down inter state at a pretty high rate of speed, and as I approached a 100 miles per hour the engine felt like it lost power and it would not accelerate and pedals to the floor. I kind of felt like cruise control was on. Now what I crank it up after killing it it does the same thing I cannot go but 35 miles per hour and my RPM's are pushing 5 to 6 k almost in the red taking about a mile exactly and it will finally shift from 2nd to 3rd gear but at a significant power loss. Try merging on to an interstate everyday and my top speed is about 35-40 mph . Can anyone please help! Everything that I have researched about this issue either leads me to throttle body, , Speed sensors in the wheel,Are the transmission. Can anyone please give me a direction to go in?Thank you

A direction, sadly, is to seek local guidance from a professional that can actually see and evaluate your car first hand. From my desk, it sounds like an electronic transmission control issue -- either externally or internally -- that requires testing to be performed before learning more. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
