When I turn on the blower a rattling sound like bad bearings is that the compressor or the clutch. Only when it is turned on can the sound be heard. As soon as you turn it off the sound stops. 2014 Compass sport 2.4L

With the type of noise you are hearing when you turn on the blower itself can indicate a fault with the blower motor assembly located in the heater box up under the dash area.
