What is your question?
Okay bought this Jeep 3 months ago I had it checked out beforehand professionally, I put $3,000 into it since and now my transmission whines up really high and then down and I'll be going down the road and all the sudden I lose all power I step on the gas and it doesn't want to go and then it will go. It makes a knocking sound also. The holes subframe was rusted out on the inside not the outside which I definitely don't understand how it can even do that. I don't know what to do I don't have the money really to put into it but I was wondering also is there only one size of transmission that fits this type of Jeep Compass 2011? I'm told I should just sell it to the junkyard please help!

Hello, my concern isn't so much the transmission, it's more about the rust and what you're investing in. It's hard, as you've already put in $3,000. From my desk, I'd usually lean towards getting out of a vehicle that's obviously had some hard life, and exposure to elements -- who knows what kind and how. On the other hand, I'm concerned about the vehicle market right now, and know there are few vehicles for sale, new and used in the marketplace -- meaning prices for modest vehicles even are higher than they should be. As a result, I'd strongly advise finding a shop near you to have another look and look at the vehicle overall to assess your overall risk of failure in other areas. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops Have a look at that link to find shops near you to help, and good luck!
