Hello, what diagnostic testing has been performed, and why was the CVT condemned as needing to be replaced? Engine performance issues can be caused by many things -- for example -- an exhaust restriction will keep engine RPM's low due to "suffocation" of the engine's ability to get rid of exhaust gases. The first investment of dollars should be with a technician that has experience, skill, equipment and reference material that can diagnose the vehicle concern properly. Additional problems may be developed if you replace parts that may be perfectly fine in the first place!
