Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. I honestly have no explanation possible for the cranking continuing while not being commanded. This sounds like some kind of electrical or ignition switch related concern. This will require hands on testing to figure out what is happening and why. As far as no start - changing plugs and coils might be helpful, but it would be more helpful to know what the engine is lacking. Fuel delivery? Spark? Air to the intake? It is too difficult to figure out without hands on testing being performed to see what's missing. Also, anti-theft devices or features may be in play preventing starting. But this is something to be seen and determined during testing. If your base engine timing and - or compression is not within specification, this can cause issues also. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link or call us at 877-913-1554.
