Ck engine light on, dealer says cause is differential clutch? Is this correct?

Came on about 6 months ago, been reset, comes back after couple hours. Had exhaust manifolds repaired about 4 months ago, thought that was issue but light came back again. No operational problems at all. Has approx 90K miles on it.
