Start/ stop auxiliary battery needs to be replaced. I have to keep jumping my Jeep to start. The auxiliary battery is draining the main battery. Where is it located at?

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. It sounds like there is some confusion here. There is only one battery in this vehicle. A single 12 volt battery. There is no additional auxiliary battery. I have researched the workshop manual just to verify this. If you are having a problem with your 12 volt battery, it is very likely due to the internal failure of the battery itself. Have the battery tested for state of charge and the ability to sustain a load. Battery has already been replaced and tests good, you could have a problem with a parasitic draw or some charging system issue that needs to be diagnosed as well.
