There was a slight grinding feel and noise but that went away once I changed the brake. It's still just slightly there. What could this be? The rotors were still smooth as well.

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. Although I cannot hear or experience this grind myself - I can suggest a couple things to look at. First, make sure the shims and rattle clips of the brake pads are installed properly. And for that matter - that the brakes are installed in the correct positions. No assumptions here - just a symptom I'm addressing. Additionally, ensure that the backing plates are not touching the brake rotors. Clearance is really close - so touching can happen with just the slightest bend. Hands on inspection is what is needed.
