Having issue with major oil leak on the oil filter housing/cooler. Common issue?

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. I can say I've seen it, but I can't say it's a "common issue" - necessarily. And, ultimately - I can't say it helps anything to be "common" or not. Which engine, by the way? The 4 cylinder or V6? Also, how many miles are we speaking of for this engine?
