This is the first time i have done it myself, last year I took it to a quicky oil change and they told me that I my have a small leak so I didn't have it charged, so this year I decided to try putting in the stop leak and recharging it myself so far it seems to have worked, 28 lbs on low side and 155 onthe high just don't know about the oil?
You do have a leak. Refrigerant doesn't evaporate. A leak doesn't just leak refrigerant it also leaks oil. Putting stop leak will create more problems than fix. Your pressure readings are to low. You need more refrigerant. The most common leaks are the compressor or evaporator. Unless you have presence of oil on hoses, switches or condenser. There's no sealant that will seal a moving part ie compressor shaft seal. The more you try to do this yourself the more you will generate more problems.
