What is your question?
When cruse control is on and traveling at highway speeds and going up a hill there is additional loads on the engine. The air conditioner reverts to the default setting and blows thru the defrosters. I have an obvious vacumn leak. I checked the whole engine compartment and vacumn canister and found no obvious leaks. The transfer to inside air and out side air seams to work fine. I think it is in the dash somewhere but can not find it easily without taking the whole dash out. Is there a vacumn line going to the fuel pump, and does anyone know of an easy way to find where the real leak is? Please help.

vaccuum line to fuel pump??? no way look at the vaccuum can again. the line from the motor needs manifold vaccum. the line then goes through the firewall to the selector switch. most of the time, it is at the can under the hood. Roy
the vacumn can is on the right side behind the front bumper, checked all the connections and even sprayed carb cleaner all over it to see if the engine changed rpm,s and nothing. Sprayed all the vacumn hoses with the spry and nothing. The check valve right off the manafold is working correctly, so bottom line everything I could see in the engine compartment looked fine. Now the cruse control set up not sure if the leak is comeing from this, or as I stated behind the dash. please try again with some advice, I can use it. thanks
