my mechanic says $800 to replace all 6 freeze plugs and manifold gasket high?

My labor guide say 4.2 hours labor to replace the intake manifold gasket or exhaust manifold gasket. Freeze plugs are often difficult to axcess power steering pump, alternator air conditioning compressor, any thing that is in the way needs to be removed ,price is probably fair.
