Hello, sounds like possible water intrusion due to faulty windshield replacement - sealant not complete, a body seam leak or some other cause of water intrusion to an area of electrical prominence or perhaps a control module. Some disassembly and investigation will be needed - especially with the problem active! That way you can trace and see what's going on. The right thing to do would be to troubleshoot the related circuits to find the source of the problem. However, it sounds like being that water makes a difference, I'd look at that first.
