Hello, the big thing that concerns me here is that you are telling this forum first that you have no spark at the big wire to the distributor. Then you are talking about how you have a new fuel pump. This means there is no testing happening at all, and you're throwing parts at the car just to figure out what's going on. The only reason to replace a fuel pump is if you have no fuel delivery to the engine in the first place, and you've verified it doesn't work. Hands on testing is needed to find out what's happening. And then understanding how the ignition system works if you are not getting spark. Have you obtained a workshop manual for the powertrain of this vehicle? If not, and if it's above your head as far as your skills set, then seek guidance at a local shop near you. Let me try to explain. I have a friend who owns a shop. He builds racing engines and has helped me this far. I'm now out of town working. 100 miles away from him. 2 Mos. Ago I rebuilt my engine. New crank cam timing set pistons everything. The fuel pump went bad I replaced it and the coil and crank sensor I replaced then also. Plugs wires cap router but no cam sensor still the old in it. Last week it spit and sputter when I started it and ran but it was skipping real bad then shut off after about a min. And that's where I'm at now. I've only used a test light to see if I have spark. And I do to the coil and out. But not the big coil wire to the top of the dist. I hope that explains it better. It does squirt alot of fuel at the shudder valve.but I didn't check pressure with guage
