What is your question?
I have owned this car for several years with current miles at 53,700....Car is maintained at Jaguar dealership. I only drive summer months, has never seen rain or snow, never been washed with water, only polished. I drive it approx. 1500 miles per summer, maybe less. My question is when I am driving it is very smooth riding until I hit a rough/uneven road. When this happens steering wheel shakes quite a bit along with visors/rear view mirror. I am suspecting shocks/struts, sway bar? Any ideas before I schedule appointment to have suspension looked over? I have never mentioned this to my Service dept as I am 90% on smooth roads. Also is this normal for the kit glove care it has always had? Thank you
What makes this problem better or worse?
Worse on rough pavement
How long has your 2004 Jaguar XKR had this problem?
Always since owned it, that has been since 48,000 miles

Hello, regardless of handling and care, the vehicle is 17 years old. Who know what has deteriorated and failed by time and wear due to age and elements? The shaking may be relatively normal, or it could be cause for concern. The diagnostic process undertaken by any reputable shop should be able to determine what is going on. www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
