What is your question?
I had been driving on highway for about 2.5 hours.

Maybe your adaptive speed control with forward alert detected a car close enough in your path to trigger a warning, but get the check engine light read/ scanned to be sure.
Thank you for the response. FYI, I took my car to my excellent mechanic a couple of weeks ago; and they said that an air box hose was loose. They reconnected it, clear the codes, except that the "flight recorder code" would not completely clear. In addition, my check engine light and restricted performance light have come on again. I am considering taking my car to a non-dealer Jaguar specialist in Springfield, VA. Any thoughts?
Do you know what the codes were that they cleared? Flight data codes need to be cleared with a Jaguar scanner, but a Jaguar specialist should be familiar with the procedure as well as how to diagnose your cars problem.
They actually reinstalled the air box that was off at throttle body and scanned and cleared codes Nos. PO171,PO174, PO300 - 307, B1318 and only the P1582 flight recorder data code would not clear. I plan to check later with a Jaguar specialist or dealer. Thanks!
