my jag has been running fine with no warnings. I put it in the garage a couple of days ago. All was normal. Today i get in to start and it has a boatload of warning i have never seen before: Gearbox fault; Failsafe engine mode; low brake fluid, ASC no available( i have seen that before); incorrect part fitted. I haven't had any issues for several years, now this from one day to the next. It won't turn over, the gearshift is locked. The battery is fine at 12.67v. There is also a red BRAKE lite on the dash as well, besides the engine check lite. This is all out of the blue and these warnings all showed up at once. a

Based on the information provided all of these warning lights may be coming on due to a voltage concern. Even if your vehicle battery itself is o.k. if there is an issue with something like a corroded wire, damaged wire, loose connection, an ignition component failing, or even an internal computer concern those can all create this type of a problem. There are also other possible causes as well, if a computer has detected a fault with one of the transmission or engine related components it can prevent the engine from starting or the transmission from shifting into gear. I think the best thing to do at this point is to allow a repair facility to plug into your vehicle's data port to check for any related fault codes as well as to inspect wiring and connections for any concerns to identify the fault so it can then be determine which type of a repair is needed.
