I hear a rubbing or scraping noise coming from the right front of the automobile when driving. The noise is not constant but sporadic--sometimes more often than others. Could this be the transmission?

Could be right front brakes or wheel bearings your best bet is to have a shop check this before further damage occurs and you can locate a shop here www.repairpal.com/directory

I have the same problem on the drivers side front end and my tire rubs on the inside wheel well in harsh dips or minow dips while turning to the right.

check your front shock upper mount and shock i had the same problem and just got it fixed
