starts fine but cant shift out of park,brake lights work.have checked fueses

Hello, Great job checking the brake lights! The shift interlock solenoid on the shifter is likely not moving when you press the brakes. Remove the cover for the shifter, look for the part that looks like a barrel with a wire going to it, and move the end of it with a screwdriver or key... whatever works. Then shift out of park. If that solenoid is not functioning, make sure it is grounded and getting power before replacing.
