Transmission oil change?

What is your question?

I have a 99 jaguar xjr. Automatic 4.0 liter supercharged. When accelerating from stop, the gears don't shift properly in 2nd and 3rd gear. There is a slight jerking motion when it shifts into those gears. Does this mean my transmission is giving out? Will a transmission oil and filter change fix this problem?
