I have a pair of wires red and black in the boot of my S Type
IT IS NOT A XJR
What is your question?
The pair of wires appear to come from under the back seat into the boot, the red wire is attached to the positive terminal on the battery, however the black wire is not connected, it has a male connector on the end, just laid along the front of the battery and just beyond.
Anybody assist it this matter, where does it join, or doesn't it?
Thanks
Nigel

I want to know, is this the reason why the radio does not accept its code, all sorts of digits on the illuminated screen.
Is it logical to say that it has power and the circuit is unstable, as the red wire is connected to the battery and the black wire is not connected.
The black wire has a male connector and it is next to a female connector, coming from a branch off the wiring harness, in the boot.
Can you please help.
