How do you remove license plate caps that comer screws

Hello, normally there are two little holes in them that are used to insert a tool and unscrew the cap. Others are pressed on with a thumb, and can be removed by popping them off, and still others are six sided, and will fit a normal wrench of the same size. The cap may actually be the license plate screw as well, so watch out for that. Check in the tool kit that came with the vehicle for a little tool that may have come with the caps.
