i have been looking all over the engine & trans conpartments to find a place to put it in

it in the back near the fire wall or it may be on the driver side with a large cap little bigger side of the oil cap
get the car up in the air and then look to the right hand side of the gearbox toward the rear where you will find a torx plug. remove the plug and fill with oil, replace plug and run engine for 5 minutes, turn off and check level.
There is no provision to add transmission fluid in these cars. It has a factory sealed system, why I don't know. Anyway there is no dip stick for checking fluid either. It's considered a dealer maintenance item. It is probably a good idea to have the filter and fluid changed every 40,/50000 miles if not sooner. Jags fluid is about $50/60 dollars quart and takes about 10 quarts or so. I understand there are alternatives that are much cheaper but the old has to be completely flushed before putting the new fluid back in the trans. So unless you're an experienced car geek, might be best to have your mechanic do the job. Hope the helps!
