stumbling on excleration 2*5 V6 X type, 120,000 miles

no check engine lite, new plugs,air filter,checked vac hoses/replaced hose to valve cover(pvc). only happens under medium to hard acceleration only in high gear or over drive and torque lock, RPM @ about 2000, engine temp at or almost at normal, more so at full operating temp.goes away on down shift.
