My friend, my assumption to my first response was that the fluid that is leaking is oily to the touch because not all coolant fluids are green. If it is oily check the transmission first, if not; check your coolant system. Unless you can jackup your car in a level position, it may be better to take it to a garage and have them check the transmission fluid level. They will have to open the transmission oil plug and pour transmission fluid in until it pours back out. Having done that, they can tell you how low it was. I am a DIY'er and have never worked on a Jag. Best of luck to you.
how do I check to see if the transmission fluid is low . I understand it is a closed system
