Hello, this is because the actual tire pressure in your tires also drops in cold weather, concurrent with the temperature. This is normal. It is best to adjust your "cold" tire pressure to the pressure indicated on the placard on the door. When the temperature warms up, you will want to check and adjust again. Air pressure as a normal principle fluctuates according to ambient temperatures.
(Nothing unusual about that) .. This IS when tire pressures must be adjusted - BEFORE driving vehicle! Cold ambient temperatures will naturally reduce tire psi - actual tire pressure is to be measured while tires are COLD.
