re setting the light does nothing. you have a problem and it needs to be fixed/ it could be the throttle body or the pedal sensor. i would take it to a shop that will do a proper diag and give you a bid. Roy

I have same problem.. but it has also been accompanied by not wanting to upshift correctly, brakes engaging in rear then front, and terrible gas milage. Thanks for the resource info!
