what is the likely cause of the ecm fuse blowing on a 2001 isuzu rodeo 3.2l v6 4wd

checked the wires coming and going to the fuse terminal all checked good on continuity. when the ignition key is turned to the on position the ecm fuse blows right away even with the coils disconnected.

What makes this problem better or worse?

nothing yet. haven't found a short.

How long has your 2001 Isuzu Rodeo had this problem?

the engine died a couple of days ago and I have been unable to find anything wrong except the ecm fuse blowing like theres a direct short.
