My car makes a horrible clunking noise when I turn my wheel to the right or put it in reverse it's gotten worse over the last week! Feels like the right side tire is going to fall off! Drives fine other than that! Somebody said it might be the rocker arm and the ball joint? Would that be accurate

What makes this problem better or worse?

Worse turning the wheel to the right and backing up, going over speed bumps, or potholes
