Transmission is hesitant in first gear when at a complete stop.

Starting with the cheapest first..usually when a trans..slips..like that its indication of dirty screen. You can buy a trans screen kit for your car at auto parts. Make sure it has the gasket with it. Take the trans pan off..many bolts around edge of pan..slowly lower pan it will be full of fluid..you should see the screen..it may be attached with a small screw otherwise it should slide right off..put new screen on..using gasket sealer put gasket on pan side..align back upand put bolts in alternating sequence.. one side then the other..just put them snug..once all in tighten them alternating side to side..tight but not too tight..fill with trans fluid however many qts your car calls for.
