my key is stuck in the ignition, steering wheel won't lock, what do i need to do

Take the cover off your steering column, behind the ignition there is a switch of sorts, the spring gave out possibly. You can take a flat head and pull the white (I believe it's white) lever back. It will release the key. But that MAY be your problem. As far as fixing it, couldn't tell you. I just leave it in. Hope I helped. Made a profile just for this comment lol

Run the gear shift through the gears and try again. Slam it in park n try.
