Is there a dipstick tube? If so, then you use a very small diameter funnel to pour the ATF down that. Check the level while the engine is running and the trans is in PARK and the vehicle is fully warmed up. I usually test drive the vehicle and shift it to make sure the fluid is evenly distributed. If there is no dipstick tube, then there is a plug on the side of the trans for filling. This can be tricky with out a hoist. There is also a temperature filling procedure for this, which needs to be followed so you don't over fill or under fill the trans.
