What steps do I follow after installing a new radiator?

The capacity of the entire cooling system is almost 3 gallons. You would add up to 3 gallons of coolant / water 50/50 mixture. There is a procedure to follow to add coolant and then purge air pockets in your cooling system that have developed when you open the cooling system. This is very important, or you can actually overheat your cooling system.
