Hi I think your guy put in a Mass Airflow Sensor. So starting with the basics, either you have a huge vacuum leak, and idle control system that doesn't work or even a stuck open EGR valve can cause this. Even dirty throttle plate can cause this.
Thanks for your answer .... what is EGR VALVE?????? IS IT A COSTLY REPAIR.....
Hi, I am sorry for the delay in reply. EGR stands for Exhaust Gas Recirculation and your car doesn't have one, I was just giving and example. First and foremost every repair starts with a diagnosis, not a guess, that way we know what's wrong and what to repair or replace. To properly diagnose your car it needs to be hooked to a scanner to see what's going on. Your car does have an IACV ( Idle Air Control Valve) and it does just what it says. It regulates air at idle to control idle speed. If it fails or gets really dirty, then you can get a stall. Looking at scan data will tell you if it is working or not> M
