What is your question?
I have a 2020 q50 and I’m wondering if the vehicle will be accepted as a buy back from the dealership if the car has an aftermarket exhaust after the catalytic converter’s?

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Whether your 2020 Infiniti Q50 gets accepted for a buyback with an aftermarket exhaust depends on the dealership and how much they're sticklers for "factory condition." Since the exhaust modifications are after the catalytic converters, they shouldn't affect emissions compliance, but the dealership might still view it as a customization that reduces resale value. If you’re working on a trade-in or buyback deal, it’s worth asking them upfront. Some dealerships are lenient, especially if the exhaust looks clean and professional, while others might ask you to return it to stock. A quick call or visit to their appraisal department will give you a clear answer before you roll in.
